Call-ins / Walk-ins
Our office welcomes call-ins and walk-ins. If our office is open, we will happily see you.
New Patient Consultation and Examinations
New patients have the opportunity to sit with Dr. Gordon and discuss their reasons for seeing a chiropractor. This consultation can last as little as a few minutes to as long as 15-20 minutes, depending on the complexity of the case. Following the consultation, Dr. Gordon may recommend a painless physical examination in order to determine how chiropractic can help.
X-Rays
Dr. Gordon recommends X-rays only in situations where the X-rays will help determine more about a patient's condition. The choice to have X-rays is always the patient's and Dr. Gordon takes the patient's cost into consideration.
Treatment Phase 1: Relief Care
If you are in pain when you come into our office, the first objective is to help you feel better. Dr. Gordon will tailor your treatment recommendations to your specific needs. You may need to be in care for as short as a couple of days or as long as month or more, depending on the seriousness of your condition.
Treatment Phase 2: Corrective/Restorative Care (if necessary)
During the corrective care phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, thereby helping prevent future re-injury. During this phase of healing, Dr. Gordon may recommend occasional check-ups to evaluate your progress and prevent exacerbation.
Treatment Phase 3: Wellness / Maintenance Care (if necessary)
Once your body has fully healed, Dr. Gordon may recommend periodic adjustments to avoid problems in the future. Usually, this only requires a quick visit to the chiropractor no more frequently than once a month, based on your lifestyle and goals.
