Dr. Douglas Gordon graduated from the National University of Health Sciences with a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2004. Since that time, he has been a licensed chiropractor in the state of Michigan. Prior to entering the graduate program for his Doctorate in Chiropractic, Dr. Gordon was a caseworker for foster children and their families in Chicago. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kalamazoo College (1997, Psychology) as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the National University of Health Sciences (2002, Human Biology).

While enrolled in the doctorate program for chiropractic, Dr. Gordon served as Class President and made Dean’s list on multiple occasions. During his schooling at ‘K’ College, he was a 4-year member of the Mens’ Basketball team, studied abroad in Madrid, Spain, and performed in various choirs, A Cappella groups, theatrical productions and improv troupes.

Dr. Gordon is the owner and sole chiropractor at Minges Creek Chiropractic in Battle Creek, MI. Like many chiropractors, Dr. Gordon believes that a healthy spine and nervous system will allow the human body to function as optimally as possible. Misalignments in the spine created from injury, stress, or disease causes pain and dysfunction. Through gentle, painless, safe and scientifically proven methods of chiropractic, Dr. Gordon is trained to provide the highest quality chiropractic care.

Dr. Gordon believes that his duty is to serve his patients – not the other way around. To that end, he respects the decisions they make in regards to their health. Dr. Gordon’s recommended treatment plans are always tailored towards the patients needs, are never longer than 4 weeks, and include regular re-evaluations in order to determine progress.

Married to his wife, Anne, since 1999, Dr. Gordon lives in Portage, MI, with their three children, Grace, Jack and Charlie.

Dr. Gordon’s hobbies and interests include basketball, triathlons, half-marathons, golf, reading, travel, and any activities with his family.
